Australian Nursing and Training Services (ANTS) training is completed via blended delivery including face to face, in a simulated and workplace environment. The workplace component is delivered in accredited residential care facilities with real people and in the real world. Student get an opportunity to deal with clients directly, learn how to provide quality care and become highly confident and competent carer. Student will be able to enhance their capacity by experiencing the real situation and developing their communication skills.
ANTS’ highly experience qualified trainers/assessors/supervisors will not only support students in the class but will also come to the workplace, provide guidelines, encourage you to obtain all necessary skills required by the qualifications. Students won’t just be observing, they will be actively participating in performing the daily tasks that are relevant to the students chosen qualification. Hence, students will receive hands on, one on one practical training which provides an opportunity to gain important workforce skills such as teamwork, building positive attitude and professional relationship.The skills will be highly essential to work in aged care, disability, NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme), home and community, leisure and health assistance acute care sectors.
Students will also have an opportunity to work with a variety of diverse background team members who will be able to share their valuable knowledge with students. In future, they may become employers and colleagues. The high degree of practical knowledge delivered makes the theory easier to understand. Classes are held in our simulated clinical rooms and in accredited residential care facilities, tying in the practical with the theory and assessment. An Independent Learning Environment is also involved this blended type of delivery caters for each student as an individual.
